42. Slow Cooker Moo Shu Pork

42 - Moo Shu PorkEasy way to make a Chinese good in a wrap or on rice

Prep to plate time: 7 hrs (5 hrs on low heat)
Serves: 4-6


  • 1 lbs boneless Pork Loin Chops
  • 3 Carrots
  • 1/2 head Red Cabbage
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 Green Onions
  • 1/2 cup Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Taco-sized Tortillas (optional)


  1. PREP: Shred the carrots and cabbage. Mince the garlic
  2. PREP: Cut the pork into medium length (2″) thin slices (1/8″)
  3. In a small bowl, mix the hoisin sauce, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce and cornstarch
  4. Lay the carrots and cabbage on the bottom of the slow cooker
  5. Place the pork on top and drizzle half of the hoisin mixture on top
  6. Set to low and cook for 6 hrs
  7. Chop the green onions
  8. PLATE: Stir in the remaining hoisin sauce as well the green onions and a sprinkling of sesame seeds. Serve over rice or in tortillas
